If you haven’t bought the “Irish Runner” magazine yet, we recommend you do: René contributes several articles to the special “Trail section” of the magazine and has the “honour” of being the magazine’s centre-fold (Donal Glackin’s gorgeous shot from the central pages are below, pity they couldn’t secure a prettier model but the Spink in the background makes up for it).
A new and updated version of our review of the “Devil’s Glen race preview” appears in the form of “Heavenly trail” and René shares some high-level coaching tips in the article “Freedom trails”. A bigger piece on “The skill of off-road running” did not make the cut this time but we hope to see it published in the Irish Runner or here on the website at some point in the future.
