We have created this action packed and fun workshop in the heart of beautiful Wicklow to teach you the skills, drills and techniques to make major breakthroughs in your running. We teach you how to run with optimal natural running form, allowing you to run faster and take control of your running injuries.
We will change the way you think about your running and cut through the clutter and confusion to get back to the essence of what running is about – an enjoyable natural human movement we were all born to do freely and as often as we want.
Using High-Definition video analysis and mobility tests, our screening finds any weak spots that could lead to injury and underperformance down the line or explain why your current injuries and pains are occurring.
We will begin work on the most important aspects of your running technique to have you running pain-free and faster, then we add power, speed and endurance to your technique. You will work in a group and also individually with a coach to work on your technique.
We show you what to focus on to improve your running technique and general movement ability. We also cover the skill of uphill and downhill running.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE WORKSHOP
When you have said “Wow!” and leave our workshops you will know exactly what the running form of an elite feels like, you will have experienced this technique for yourself and have the video to prove it to others. We provide all the drills, videos, notes and exercises for your specific issues.
Your post workshop manual gives a roadmap and sets a clear direction so you can go away to condition and perfect what you have learned. We provide all the support you need afterwards in our facebook group and by email.
The workshop is designed to be both a starting point for complete beginners as well as a ‘restart’ for competitive and elite performers. If you are injured we recommend checking with us if you can fully participate in the weekend. The majority of our attendees who arrive with chronic pains and injuries from running in areas such as achilles, knees, IT bands, plantar fasciitis, back pain, tight calves etc. are fully able to participate on the weekend. If for some reason you can’t participate during the workshop, due to injury or pain, we will get you back to our next workshop at no cost.
How successful are we?
We have had amazing success with hundreds of runners from Ireland and abroad. Take a look at this fun video where on the first morning we worked for just 60 seconds with someone we never worked with before and instantly saw dramatic changes to her running technique. We change her from being a slow jogging heel striker to having the running form of a real athlete. She then had a full weekend of coaching to look forward to! There is no reason why you can’t achieve the same great progress with us.
